What Loral offers that the neighbourhood alternatives don't is a coherent British-curriculum pathway from Reception to A-Level in one location, at Festac fee levels. The Amuwo-Odofin catchment (Festac Town, Amuwo Odofin, Satellite Town, Kirikiri) historically had two options for premium British-curriculum schooling: send children to VI or Lekki with a two-hour daily round-trip commute, or accept the mid-market Nigerian-curriculum alternatives. Loral's arrival in 1998 gave families a third option and the roll grew steadily. Twenty-five years on, Loral is embedded in the Festac professional-family ecosystem — the Cargill Oil executives, the LADOL contractors, the mid-tier NNPC families, plus the returnee-diaspora Nigerian families who chose to live in Festac for its space and safety rather than the Island prestige. Reception entry is via play-based assessment with a parent interview scheduled in the same visit. Year 1 through Year 6 candidates sit an English + Mathematics paper at grade-appropriate level plus a short informal reading exercise. Year 7 entry requires an entrance examination covering English, Mathematics, and Verbal Reasoning, plus a face-to-face interview with the Head of Secondary. Sixth Form entry (Year 12) requires predicted IGCSE grades of 5 (C) or better in six subjects including English and Mathematics, plus subject-specific interviews for the chosen A-Level subjects. The application window opens in January and closes in early May for the September intake; late applications considered subject to space through July. Sibling priority applies but is not guaranteed. Deposit fee ₦150,000 refundable against first-term tuition.

Campus & facility
Festac campus with academic blocks, four science laboratories, assembly hall, small swimming pool, sports facilities, and library. Modern British-curriculum infrastructure. Day-only.
The Festac campus was originally built in 1998 on a former commercial plot and expanded in 2007 and 2018 with additional academic wings. The senior secondary block houses the Sixth Form space — a converted upper floor with private study booths, a small student common room, and a dedicated UCAS office. The 25m swimming pool (added 2007) is used for both PE lessons and competitive swimming — Loral Festac has been Lagos-South inter-school swimming champion four times in the past decade. The football pitch is artificial-turf (upgraded 2019) and floodlit for evening training. Power runs on the Festac grid supplemented by a 150KVA generator and inverter backup for classroom lighting. Water from the estate LSWC pipe with an onsite borehole for backup. School buses run within a 20km radius covering Festac, Amuwo Odofin, Satellite Town, Kirikiri, and Apapa.
