Admission process
JS1 entry via school entrance examination and interview. Application fee ₦8,000. Muslim families receive priority. Common Entrance results considered.
JS1 entrance examination held twice yearly (April and August) covering English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge at end-of-primary level plus a short Islamic Religious Studies section. Application fee ₦8,000 (may be waived for lower-income families through zakat funds administered by AUDSN). Muslim family priority is documented; sibling and legacy priority applies. Non-Muslim pupils welcome and accommodated with Christian Religious Studies as an alternative subject. SS1 transfer entry available for pupils moving from other AUDSN schools or from mainstream secondaries with satisfactory JS3 results. Interview with the Principal and the school imam for shortlisted candidates.

The mosque (rebuilt 2001) remains the school's spiritual centre and hosts daily prayers, Friday Juma'ah, and Ramadan iftar community meals. Facilities include three academic blocks (junior secondary, senior secondary, and administrative), three science laboratories (physics, chemistry, biology), the mosque, an assembly hall used for weekly parade and school events, a library with an Islamic reference collection, a computer laboratory, and outdoor sports facilities (a football pitch and basketball court).
