The Lekki-to-VI commute should be simple — 15km along the peninsula. But the Lekki toll gate creates an artificial bottleneck that can add 30-60 minutes during peak hours. The toll itself is ₦400-₦800 per passage. Many Lekki residents have switched to the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge approach (toll-free for now), which avoids the Admiralty Circle congestion entirely. BRT service along this corridor has improved, but the real game-changer will be the rail extension to Lekki — still under construction.
