What “unlimited” actually means
A genuinely unlimited plan has no FUP (Fair Usage Policy) — meaning the ISP won't throttle your speed regardless of how much you download. FibreOne, Tizeti, ipNX and Smile's top tier are truly unlimited. Spectranet Elite7 and MTN 5G market as “unlimited” but throttle speeds past a usage threshold (150GB-800GB depending on plan).

"Unlimited data" in Nigeria comes with an asterisk it pays to understand.
