The kW vs kVA trap

Two sites can quote “1kW” and “1kVA” and appear to describe the same system — they do not. kW describes the PANEL ARRAY; kVA describes the INVERTER rating. When comparing quotes, always ask which is being measured, and whether battery and labour are included.
