The Foreshore School is the boutique Ikoyi primary that professional families in the Ikoyi/Old-Ikoyi/Bourdillon Road catchment have quietly used for three decades. Founded 1996 by a small group of educators focused on early-years excellence, the 2-acre campus stayed intentionally small — roll of ~350 across nursery through Year 6, class caps at 20. That small scale is the product. Where LHA sells scale and Meadow Hall sells modern facilities, Foreshore sells attention: three-teacher Reception, individualised phonics, and multi-year relationships between class teachers and pupils. Alumni feed strongly into LBS, BIS, Charterhouse, and increasingly into UK prep schools ahead of Common Entrance to English public schools.
