About this school — Grange School

Grange is the Mainland's established British school — the place where Ikeja professionals, lawyers, doctors and corporate executives have sent their children for 60+ years. Its reputation is built on a strong IGCSE pass record, two decades of A-Level experience, and a continuity of teaching staff that few Lagos schools can match. The school is intentionally smaller than its Island peers and has resisted aggressive expansion, which keeps year-group sizes manageable but means Reception waitlists are perpetual.

Admission process

Grange admits via two annual intake windows (January and May) for the September school year. Reception entry is play-based and includes a parent interview. Year 1 and above require an assessment in English and Mathematics. Sixth Form entry requires predicted IGCSE grades of 5/C or better in six subjects. Sibling priority is strong — siblings of current pupils receive automatic shortlisting. Application fee is ₦60,000 non-refundable. Year 7 and Year 12 are competitive entry years; Reception is moderately competitive.
