About this school — Wellspring College

Wellspring College Omole Phase 2 is a mid-premium hybrid school in one of Ikeja's established residential estates. Combines the Nigerian secondary curriculum with Cambridge IGCSE options at senior secondary. Founded 2005. Targets families that want dual certification without the Chrisland or Grange fee tier. The Omole location keeps it accessible from Magodo, Ikeja GRA, and the Berger corridor.

Wellspring's Omole Phase 2 location matters more than a first look would suggest. Omole Phase 2 is one of the few Ikeja residential estates that developed with premium-tier residential infrastructure but without a corresponding premium-tier school on-estate — historically, families in Omole either sent children to Grange or Chrisland Ikeja with a ~20-minute daily commute or accepted the affordable-tier alternatives. Wellspring's 2005 opening filled that specific gap, and the enrolment reflects it: heavy on Omole Phase 1 and Phase 2 residents, secondary catchment from Magodo Phase 2 and Ikeja GRA edges, plus a small commute-in cohort from Berger. Twenty years on, Wellspring is embedded in the Omole professional-family ecosystem — mid-tier bank executives, senior civil servants, medical consultants at LASUTH and adjacent hospitals, plus the small returnee cohort that chose Omole for its post-Y2K residential planning. WAEC results are consistently 85-92% credit-pass in core subjects, and the IGCSE cohort at senior secondary has been growing.
